Many of you are feeling anxious, isolated, lonely.
How can we reduce our stress level and be in the right frame of mind when so many of us have to work from home

I don’t have the answers, but I would like to share 5 tips to help you go through your day during this transition:

1- Stay close to people: social distance yes, but don’t disconnect! Book some virtual coffee break with friends or colleagues, use SLACK, Skype…so you don’t feel isolated at home.

2- Do something that brings you a daily dose of joy: such as listening to music, to your favourite podcast, or dance for 5 min, call a friend!

3- Mindset: be positive, or at least try. Start your day by listing 3 things you are grateful for, especially if you are not sick, try to see kindness in uncertain times

4- Mindfulness: focus on your breathing! Close your eyes, take deep breaths in, relax your body, bring your attention to your breath and notice what it feels like as it enters your body. Do this for 5 min EVERYTIME you feel anxious.

5- Movement: make sure you keep moving your body! If you can’t go to the gym, you can still get great workouts thanks to YouTube. Get your heart pumping, it will lower your blood pressure and help you sleep better!

And if you come up with super-creative ideas, don’t hesitate to share.
